Thomas Tuchel says Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are very strong together

Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel has said that Kylian Mbappe and Neymar have an excellent co-ordination in the attack and they are very strong together. Les Parisiens recently registered a comfortable 5-1 win over Lyon in the semi-final of the French Cup and both Mbappe and Neymar came up with standout displays.

While Mbappe was the man of the match with a hat-trick, Neymar also managed to find the net after converting a penalty. Speaking after the game, Tuchel was full of praise for the attacking duo and was particularly pleased with Mbappe, who has scored six times in his previous three appearances for the club.

The transfer value for Neymar Jr. has dropped for the very first time in his professional career. The star footballer from Brazil has had an uneven start of his campaign for Paris-Saint Germain which is now being reflected in the latest valuation of his that come out recently.


Neymar started his career as a professional footballer in the year 2009 at Santos. The youth team promoted him at that time. At that stage, he had a market value of £900,000. From that point in time, his value began to rise every year. But it got stagnated between the years 2016 and 2017.

Neymar’s relationship with PSG fans is getting better

Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel has said that Neymar’s relationship with the club’s faithful is getting better on the basis of his performances this season. The Brazil international was desperate to part ways to rejoin Barcelona from the French champions last summer but a deal never materialised until the transfer deadline.

Neymar has since made his comeback to the first-team in stunning fashion with four goals from five appearances and that has included a couple of late winning goals against Lyon and Strasbourg. Speaking in a press conference, Tuchel said that Neymar has won over some of the supporters with the recent run of form and it is up to the player to change the perception with his displays. Papastathopoulos lauds the arrival of defender David Luiz

Arsenal defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos has hailed the arrival of defender David Luiz from Chelsea and believes the club need more players of the same character. The Brazil international made the move to the Gunners during the closing stages of the summer transfer window and he has since made his debut in the Premier League clash against Burnley.

Speaking to reporters, Sokratis said that he has known Luiz from the past with the centre-back able to communicate with him in Greek. He added to hail the style of play of the Brazilian and said that the Gunners need more players with the same level of calibre, he told: “I have known him for a lot of years. He also speaks some Greek and is a very good guy. I am happy also that we took a player like him with experience. When I was in Dortmund I played with Hummels, who has the same style as David. Tuchel admits he knew Neymar wanted to leave PSG beforehand

Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel has acknowledged that he knew Neymar wanted to leave the club before the Copa America tournament earlier this summer. The Brazilian has been with Les Parisiens for the past couple of seasons but reports have emerged that he could part ways with the side with an eye to re-joining Barcelona.

Speaking to RMC Sport, Tuchel said that he had a clear idea regarding the forward’s intentions before the recent Copa America tournament. He added that he cannot say further regarding the speculation and it is up to club to decide on the future of the 27-year-old, he quipped: “I am always disappointed when a player turns up late. But it is clear between us, now it is between the club and Ney. We work together.

Neymar Might Dump PSG and Go for Real?

The Real Madrid is yet to substitute Cristiano Ronaldo, club record scorer but, the Zinedine Zidane seems to have been received a huge boost in their reported pursuit of a Brazil superstar Neymar. Neymar, the Former FC Barcelona superstar became the most expensive footballer of worlds after completing a €222 million (R3.6 billion) transfer. He got transferred from Blaugrana to Paris Saint-Germain and the transfer took place in 2017 August.
