AC CAN HANDLE IT

The AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has said that he is confident that the club can handle the departures of key players like Robinho and Alexandre Pato. Milan have already lost a number of key players during the summer, which led to the upheaval from the fans. This has led to many fans boycotting the matches, while the season ticket sales have been at an all-time low for the Italian club. The decreased quality on the pitch has also meant that Allegri has struggled to replicate the title success for AC Milan. They are extremely close to dropping out of the Champions League qualification as well.

Alexandre Pato has been linked with a move to the Club World Cup champions Corinthians, while Robinho has been linked with a move to his former club Santos. The Brazilian club Santos have repeatedly stated that they would like to bring the former Real Madrid and Manchester city man during the January transfer window, while the player is also keen. However, the two clubs have not been able to agree a transfer fee for the player, with Santos reportedly running out of patience. They recently stated that they will be making a final bid for the player in the hope of getting him in the first week of January.

“Will I be more disappointed if Pato or Robinho leaves? They are different feelings. Pato has the potential to win the Ballon d’Or, but I understand he needs to find that confidence he lost amid all the injuries. Robinho, ah what to say about Robinho? He is a player of a superior level,” said Allegri in a recent interview. Milan are currently in the seventh position in the Italian Serie A. They are also facing Barcelona in the last 16 stage of the Champions League.
