ROBINHO RULES OUT ARSENAL COMEBACK

Current AC Milan and former Manchester city striker Robinho has said that Arsenal can easily forget about creating a miracle in the second leg of the Champions League tie against AC Milan.

AC Milan come into the second leg of the last 16 stage of the Champions League knowing that they have already placed one foot on the quarter-finals after their impressive 4-0 win over Arsenal at the San Siro. No team in the Champions League has managed to overturn a 4-0 deficit from the first leg, and Robinho is of the belief that Arsenal will not be the first team to do so.

Robinho seems to have found a proper home in the form of AC Milan after being unhappy at his previous two clubs in the form of Real Madrid and Manchester City. He was vital in the 4-0 win over Arsenal in the first leg. He is once again expected to be a crucial part of the team in the second leg as well. Only Spanish club Deportivo la Coruna have created this sort of magic in the Champions League a few seasons ago. However, they were coming back from being three goals down in the tie, while Arsenal will be attempting to get back four goals.

“At City, I never had much luck but I’ve shown what I can do with Milan and I’m determined for another good day. Arsenal have improved since we beat them but it’s almost impossible for them to turn this tie around. We were superior in the San Siro — 4-0 was a poor return. Robin van Persie is a great forward but he couldn’t influence things,” AC Milan striker Robinho. His huge influence on the first leg came in the form of two goals, which now count for a lot as the second leg comes closer.
