ALLEGRI WELCOMES BRAZILIANS

AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has suggested that he could be welcoming both the Brazilian strikers Robinho and Alexandre Pato in the next few days. The Brazilian pair are currently out the first team action with an injury. They have not played in a match so far this season. Due to the absence of such quality players, AC Milan have struggled to come to any sort of form in the first few matches of the campaign. In fact, they have just one victory in the matches played so far, which has only served to infuriate the fans even more.

The AC Milan fans are already extremely distraught with the club after seeing a number of high profile players either leave without being offered new contracts or being sold in the case of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The fans see the club being destroyed in their own eyes. They have expressed their displeasure at the way the club has resisted investment into the new players by not showing an interest in buying the season tickets. As AC Milan prepare to face Inter Milan in the Milan derby, there will be a lot of empty seats because AC Milan fans have not yet purchased tickets for this match.

“Robinho should be fit for Cagliari, while I hope Pato returns in time for the derby,” said the AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri, who has also been criticised by the fans. The 43-year-old is seen by many as a dead man walking before he is eventually replaced by another manager. AC Milan are unlikely to make it into the Champions League spot this season due to the ongoing struggles both on and off the field. As result, revenues are also expected to drop quite significantly over the next few seasons, as they look to rebuild for the future.
