ROBINHO IMPACT UNKNOWN

Robinho is currently performing with his childhood club Santos on a loan deal which expires at the end of the season but the Brazilian forward has never really managed to make an impact with his parent club Ac.Milan.

Ac.Milan signed Robinho on August of 2010 with a price tag of €18 million as he made his move from Manchester City to Ac.Milan but Robinho could never adapt to life in Italy and now he is being linked with a permanent move to Robinho and this would benefit everyone involved in this deal.

If a deal does happen and Santos is indeed interested in keeping Robinho on a permanent then the cash injection will help Ac.Milan on strengthening other areas of the team that have displayed vulnerabilities while also the Italian club is going to be releasing a player that seems to be consistently struggling to live up to the expectations that were raised when he entered San Siro a few years ago.

Robinho is a fan favorite at Santos and this will also help the Brazilian player on finishing his career with the club where he started his professional career and his chances on appearing in the first team of Santos is higher in comparison than with Ac.Milan.

The president of Santos Odilio Rodrigues  confirmed that the club is interested in keeping Robinho on a long term deal as he told the media: “We have reached an agreement with Robinho: he wants to stay here and we want the same thing. He has a great relationship with the fans and we are ready to discuss his contract with Milan’’

Filippo Inzaghi has at his disposal a number of offensive players which includes: Stephan El Shaarawy, Giampolo Pazzini, Keisuke Honda, M’Baye Niang and Jeremy Menez. When Robinho makes his return to Ac.Milan, he would have to compete against these players in order to get a chance in snatching a spot in the starting lineup of XI. Instead of having to compete against these players, it would be much easier for him to secure a starting role in Santos.
